Many women and children who leave abusive relationships suffer from PTSD. Horrific memories of what happened loop over and over in their minds. With a COVID Christmas looming, Solace Women’s Aid desperately needed funds to help high-risk survivors. So we created a social film that lured people into an idyllic festive scenario, but then lopped it. And then we pushed it further and further to make anyone watching feel really uncomfortable. Only the viewers had the power to make it stop, unlike the victims.

We supported the film with press, OOH, Tube cards and social by deliberately planting a festive song in the reader’s head before the rug pull.
